Participation in the 2015 National Event of the DofE Award is free for all Award Leaders, Coordinators, Adventurous Journey Assessors and Supervisors, Coaches and members of the DofE Award Alumni Club. This is a unique opportunity to move your involvement in the DofE Award forward. We expect at least one member (but no more than two members) from each Award Unit.
You can look forward to two days packed with information, workshops, adventure and meeting your colleagues from across the Czech Republic. You will be able to meet interesting people, such as the DofE patron and documentarist Petr Mikšíček and ultra biker and DofE participant Markéta “Peggy” Marvanová and new members of the National Office.
The National Event will take place at the beautiful Semerink Hotel in Janov nad Nisou (www.hotel-semerink.cz).
The National Event will start on Friday 16 October at 13:00 and end on Saturday 17 October at 15:00. For those interested, a bus will be available, departing from Prague on Friday at 10:30 from the Prague Main Train Station (Wilsonova street, in front of the Fantova café) and departing from Janov nad Nisou to Prague on Saturday at 15:00. You can extend your stay to Sunday for CZK 500 per person (the price includes breakfast).
